Bellevue Relay for Life Kickoff – Lincoln Square

Bellevue, WA – The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Bellevue would like to invite the Bellevue community to join them for their annual “Kickoff Celebration,” January 23rd 10 – 11 AM, to learn about Relay for Life. The event is in preparation for Bellevue’s Relay for Life taking place June 12 – 13 from 2 PM – 8AM at Bellevue High School.

The “Kickoff Celebration” – taking place at Lincoln Square Cinemas – is the first formal event of the 2010 Bellevue Relay for Life season. The event will feature background information on Relay for Life, survivorship communications, informal meet-and-greet time and is a great opportunity to meet with members of the Bellevue community resolute in the fight against cancer.

Ultimately, the goal of the Kickoff is to continue growing the Bellevue event – one of the fasted growing Relay for Life events in the area – and connect people leading the fight against cancer with the Bellevue community.
In addition to inviting those new to Relay for Life, The Relay for Life of Bellevue leadership team will be inviting past team members, team captains, participants and survivors to join and be honored for their hard work. Plan on bringing your enthusiasm and spirit of teamwork to the Kickoff and meeting other volunteers interested in carrying out this year’s theme of “Celebrating more Birthdays”.
