Former NFL Pro May Challenge Patty Murray

By Evan at September 27th, 2009.

Thanks to a reader who sent along this link to this Tri-City Herald article: Clint Didier is considering a run against our state’s senior Senator, Patty Murray.

Didier has two championship rings from Super Bowls XVII and XXII (see his NFL record here).

He played for the Washington Redskins from 1982 to 1987 and for the Green Bay Packers from 1988 to 1989.

Now a high school football coach in his Eastern Washington hometown of Connell, Didier has formed an “exploratory committee” to consider taking on Murray.

We’re tracking down the former NFL pro Tight End, and will post and update if and when we’re able to reach him.

Not familiar with the man, but he is unquestionably more qualified than Sen. Murray.

He’s formed an exploratory Committee and is meeting tomorrow in Richland, WA. I found his facebook page. It looks like his web page is still under construction but his facebook has a bunch of information.

Here is a link to his facebook page.

Didier, like the other conservative candidates, are more than welcome to Grays Harbor County, where we will host a townhall meeting for him to meet the locals.
