Hardball Time? A Tale of Two Town Hall Approaches

Brian Baird suddenly took a sharp turn to the left, and adopted the same tack as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, going on the attack against critics of health care reform. Baird compared critics’ tactics at town halls as similar to the “Brown Shirts.”
The response to his new plan of attack, as you might guess, has spanned from ridicule to indignation.
Adam Smith: The Greatest Moderate Ever!

It endorsed Gregoire for Governor in 2008; it backed Obama, and every other Democrat it could find. It has obviously been fully supportive of Democrat Adam Smith in the 9th Congressional District. In an article from this week, Brad Shannon writes:
Smith … has built a reputation as a moderate pro-business Democrat.
Let’s examine Smith’s so called “moderate” record.
