For several weeks now, public support has been slipping for the President’s public plan. Now, that slip in public opinion is causing even members of his own party to more carefully hedge their bets.
Obama’s Poll Numbers Continue Slide

Last week, our state’s senior Senator, Patty Murray, recently attracted attention from readers who cried “pork” over Murray’s role in a last minute deal arranging millions more in pork barrel bucks for our problem-ridden ferry system–after first being snubbed by the Obama Administration.
Congress Must Address Immigration Reform

It may appear silly to expect Mr. Obama, Mr. Schumer and other congressional leaders to pass comprehensive immigration reform this year – let alone this congress.
